What a year!
What have I done during lockdown? - written a couple of songs as you do - one of which is called Lockdown Brain. So why did I write this particular one?
At the beginning of January this year - I went on a songwriting course taster (well on zoom!) - having only ever written ONE song before!
Our first assignment was to write some lyrics based around a few backing tracks that were provided by the tutors on the course. Thus Lockdown Brain was born!
A week or so later I sat down at my keyboard and played a few chords, then created the rest of the lyrics and melody to this song.
Having got this far - the next step was to video myself. This took quite a time creating the backdrop and sorting technology but once I was happy with the end result, it was time to upload my first ever youtube! 😂
My son, Matt, was my advisor and also created the thumbnail shown on youtube.
Having been a piano and vocals teacher for ever this was now my time to be creative!
